Founder of Urbach & Avraham, LLP, a CPA firm

Linda Turner Urbach and Jeff Urbach, both OSP alumni, at Masada in December 2008

I attended the overseas program during my junior year in university, 1971/1972, after which I returned to the States and received my BA from Temple University in 1973 and my MBA from Rutgers University in 1975.

In 1973 I married Linda Turner, a SUNY graduate whom I met during the same OSP semester. She was spending her junior year there with SUNY-Plattsburgh. She returned home and received her BA from SUNY Plattsburgh in 1972 and we married in October 1973 (the day after the Yom Kippur War began).

We have three children, Daniella Urbach-Ross, PhD, Jeremy and Micah Urbach. We have a grandson, and another grandchild on the way, I"YH. In the 1980s I founded a CPA firm, Urbach & Avraham, CPAS, LLP, and am working on developing joint business projects in Israel. I am also a volunteer with Sar-El and plan on continuing my "two tours of duty" annually as long as I can.

All of our children have spent a summer in Israel with Young Judea, and our youngest, Micah, just returned from the "Young Judea Year Course" and is attending college in New Jersey.

You can find me on Facebook, and we welcome hearing from other alumni from that academic year.
