Greetings from Our Chairman

WE'RE TURNING "BRAIN DRAIN"
TO "BRAIN GAIN"

The tide is turning!

With our support, the debilitating "brian drain" that drew many of Israel's most promising scientists and thinkers abroad is being reversed at TAU.

This year, 23 outstanding academics from posts outside Israel have joined the TAU faculty. That's almost a quarter of all the "gained" faculty at Israel's universities.

An American Friend's contribution brought a highly sought-after young mathematician, cited for major analytical breakthroughs, from Princeton University to TAU. Another AFTAU gift brought an extraordinary computer scientist -- ranked first among 9,000 junior researchers by the European Research Council -- to the TAU campus.

And these two are just the beginning. You can read more about brain gain here.

Your help makes a real difference.

And as we work to fight the pernicious effects of brain drain, whatever you can give will be more meaningful than ever.
