Old and new American Friends with shared interests in Israel and biomedical research gathered at the historic townhouse restored by event host J.P. Morgan Private Banking on Madison Avenue for an exclusive lunch and briefing from Prof. Shmuel Einav.

Prof. Einav's dynamic presentation provided a glimpse into several new advances in bioengineering which have profound implications on our future health and well-being. Among the most gee-whiz innovations he discussed were the use of nano-robots and nano-devices to repair human biological structures on the molecular level and pills with electronic components that can help doctors monitor their patient's medicine needs.

Yoram Kinberg, a friend of AFTAU, helped to organize the event.
