American Friends Shelley and Joel Tauber welcomed TAU President Prof. Joseph Klafter and invited guests for a dinner at their magnificent penthouse overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Joel is a past chairman of AFTAU and serves on TAU's Board of Governors.
In his remarks, special guest Ofer Bavly, Israel's Consul General to Florida and Puerto Rico, stressed the importance of supporting higher education to ensure Israel's continued economic growth and security. Among the guests were AFTAU and TAU board members Norman Lipoff and Jackie Simkin, TAU Board of Governors members Amnon Golan, Shulamit Katzman and Simon Seren, and AFTAU CEO Gail Reiss.
