A capacity crowd of new American Friends filled a conference room at the Boston law offices of Pepper Hamilton LLP for a presentation by Prof. Tal Dvir on his groundbreaking work in tissue engineering. Prof. Dvir's Laboratory for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine uses biomaterials and nanowires to replace damaged tissue in hearts, brains, and spinal cords to restore function.
Guests were welcomed by Pepper Hamilton partner Steven London, a member of the International Board of Directors for TAU's Recanati School of Business. The lively Q&A which followed the presentations, with questions and comments from venture capitalists, consultants, attorneys, academics, and others in life science fields, reflected the enthusiasm with which guests greeted Prof. Dvir's cutting-edge research.
