Diana and Dr. Gabriel Rubanenko graciously opened their lovely home to 60 American friends and TAU alumni for a reception with special guest Prof. Jonathan Gershoni, internationally recognized researcher and Professor of Immunology at Tel Aviv University. Prof. Gershoni has been a pioneer in developing new vaccines and treatments for pandemic diseases like AIDS, Hepatitis C and SARS.
The guests, who enjoyed an irresistible dessert spread, included AFTAU supporters Helene Feder, Rody and Jacob Castrol and Molly and Israel Weinberg, as well as TAU alumni Edward Moran, Orna Yarzin and Clark Hoover. Some of Prof. Gershoni's distinguished professional colleagues were also on hand to hear his remarks, including Dr. Peter Kraus, Dr. Aron Bick, Dr. Michael Gottlieb, and Dr. Robert and Susanne Reyto.
