Beverly and Herb Gelfand welcomed over 100 American Friends to view their outstanding collection of impressionist and Chinese art and enjoy a presentation by Prof. Asher Susser, Director for External Affairs of the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern Studies.

Herb Gelfand introduced Prof. Susser, who captivated the audience with his insider's view of the current status of the Israeli-Palestinian negotiations, the two-state solution, and other front-page issues affecting the U.S./Israel partnership. A lively question-and-answer session provided more food for thought, after which the guests mingled and enjoyed a delicious dessert reception that flowed into the gardens of the Gelfands' expansive home.
