fantastic film frame.pngNearly 40 TAU alumni and friends, Israelis and Americans, gathered at the Oshman Family JCC in Palo Alto for networking, socializing and a screening of two short films from the acclaimed Department of Film and Television at Tel Aviv University.

Talia Cohen, co-chair of the Northern California Alumni Leadership Committee, opened the main event, expressing her excitement to be a part of the growing community AFTAU is building in the Northern California area, and introduced the screenings of Roads and Dolls and Houses. Following the films, Donny Inbar of The Israel Center of the Jewish Community Federation led a conversation with Roads director Lior Geller, who spoke about the inspiration for his film, the challenges he faced, and the Israeli film industry itself.
