Business, law and media leaders heard Prof. Uzi Rabi, Director of the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies, explore the changing panorama of the Middle East at a breakfast and lecture hosted by The Common Good. The event was organized in collaboration with American Friend David Avital of MTP Investment Group.

Prof. Rabi discussed the new Arab unrest sparked by youth and social media during the recent events of the Arab Spring, which shifted political power from the leaders to the general public. While Israel will need to retain its military strength, he said, it will now need to explore strategic alternatives to address the new initiatives of Arab youth and their non-military challenges to Israel's borders.
