Director and TAU alum Dan Katzir moderated a question-and-answer session with legendary Hollywood producer Mike Medavoy to conclude "A Night of Jewish Culture" at Sinai Temple's ATID, presented in collaboration with the Los Angeles Jewish Film Festival and AFTAU. 150 young professionals and friends enjoyed a full evening of arts-related activities, including a filmmaking workshop, a photography exhibit, a mini-film festival, live music — and a generous array of wine and refreshments.

Guests, including AFTAU's Southern California Alumni chairs Dr. Doron Kahana and Clark Hoover, heard from Jason Adelman of the Jewish Federation of LA's Entertainment Council, the master of ceremonies for the night, and Rabbi David Wolpe graciously welcomed the guests. The evening ended on a high note, with Medavoy, responsible for such films as Black Swan, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and Apocalypse Now, sharing his inspirations and experiences with the rapt audience.
