2012 International Board of Governors Meeting

June 7–11, 2012

The energy was electric!

For our American delegation — all 44 of us — this "BOG" demonstrated the spirit and vitality of a university taking its place on the world stage.

We were on the go every minute, drinking it all in.

Eye-opening symposia. Glorious music. Thoughtful meetings. Inspiring ceremonies. And, of course, just plain fun with students, faculty, and each other.

Most of all, it was a joy to celebrate the imagination and impact of our AFTAU colleagues as they launched projects across the campus.

The future is underway!

2013 ANNUAL
BOARD OF GOVERNORS MEETING

June 6–10, 2013
We look forward to seeing you there!

Reflections from Jon Gurkoff

National Chairman

Wow!

TAU is expanding and growing in every possible way — and this year's Board of Governors Meeting really brought that home.

The campus is alive with bulldozers and construction crews. Exciting new labs with the latest equipment are in full operation.

But it's not just physical growth that blew us all away.

We met amazing young people, part of a swelling student body from Israel and 44 countries around the world.

We had private briefings by inspiring new faculty members, fresh from leading international corporations and universities.

And we felt enormous pride in being part of TAU's accomplishments and growing stature around the world.

I've barely unpacked, but I can't wait for next year — when I hope you and I will be travelling together.

There's just nothing like being there!
