Nearly 50 TAU alumni and friends gathered at the Charles Aidikoff Theatre in Beverly Hills for networking, socializing, and a private screening of three short films from TAU's acclaimed Department of Film and Television — Sashen'ka, Barbie Blues, and Dark Nights.
Doron Kahana, co-chair of the Southern California Alumni Leadership Committee, opened the main event, and thanked outgoing chair Edward Moran for his efforts in building a vibrant alumni community in the region. After the screening, TAU alumnus Dan Katzir led a conversation with Barbie Blues director Adi Kutner, whose film had just been screened at the Sundance Film Festival. (Read more about her visit to the Sundance festival here.)
Event co-chair Clark Hoover closed the evening with thanks to the guests for being such good friends of Tel Aviv University.
