The Americanization of the Israeli Legal System?
With Ron Harris

An intimate group of attorneys from Washington's law firms gathered in Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP's conference room for lunch and a discussion with Ron Harris, Dean of Tel Aviv University's Buchmann Faculty of Law.

Following an introduction by Akin Gump partner Howard Jacobson, Harris offered an interesting portrait of the way the western world has influenced the Israeli legal system and discussed the implications for Israeli companies.

Guests heard about the range of programs in the law school, including collaborations with top US law schools Northwestern University and Stanford, as well as the launch of next year's English language LLM program at Tel Aviv University.
