Experience Music for the Soul

Over 80 TAU alumni and friends gathered at the beautiful home of Varda and Israel Shaked for a program presented by MusicTalks founder and director, TAU double alumnus Elad Kabilio, featuring a chamber music concert by TAU alumni.

Hagit Weihs, Boston Alumni Leadership Committee Co-Chair and event co-chair, and event co-chair Bruce Dezube, Boston Alumni Leadership Committee member, thanked the Shakeds for generously and graciously hosting this elegant evening. Elad Kabilio, a cellist, discussed MusicTalks, which breaks down the barriers between musicians and audience by taking advantage of the intimacy that chamber music provides. The program, which featured works by Mozart, Bruch, Bach, and Schumann, was performed by a group including five non-professional and professional musicians who came together just for this lovely event. It included hostess Varda Shaked (piano), Dani Rimoni (viola), Eugene Kaminsky (piano), and Susan Sherman (clarinet).

Guests stayed after the concert and enjoyed great company, wine, desserts and sufganiut for pre-Hanukah.
