A Celebration of Generosity

A wonderful gala — two years in the making! Amidst spectacular night-sky views of the New York harbor at the Museum of Jewish Heritage, 175 guests celebrated the gratifying culmination of an exciting and meaningful initiative. Together, the Alpha Omega Foundation and American Friends of Tel Aviv University turned The Rothstein-Williamowsky Post-Graduate Clinics from dream to stunning reality.

Campaign Chairs Dr. Marc Rothman and Steven William Kess and Dinner Chair Dr. Allen Finkelstein celebrated the clinics' inspiring leaders, Dr. Ben Williamowsky and Prof. Ilana Eli, former dean of the TAU School of Dental Medicine, and toasted the evening's honorees — Alan and Noni Aufzien and the Aufzein family; Julie Charlestein and the Julius and Ray Charlestein Foundation; Dr. D. Walter Cohen and Claire H. Reichlin; Barry Friedberg; Dr. Anne Eiting Klamar and Midmark; Dr. Garry Rayant and Dr. Kathy Fields Rayant; Randall Rothstein and Russell Rothstein and the families of Irving and Lorain Rothstein and Ralph and Bette Rothstein; and Stanley M. Bergman, CEO of Henry Schein, Inc.

Guest speaker Ambassador Ido Aharoni, Consul General of Israel in New York, spoke movingly of the far-reaching effects of the initiative, and conveyed the thanks of the State of Israel.
