ISIS and the Threat to Israel

Amid breathtaking views, 60 American friends and TAU alumni gathered at Herb Nadel and Jeannine Sefton's elegant condo to hear an excluive briefing from TAU's Professor Asher Susser, internationally renowned policy analyst and former head of the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies at TAU. Steve Erdman, with his wife Faye, co-hosts and longtime friends of TAU, opened the program, and co-host Herb Nadel introduced Prof. Susser, who explored the threat of ISIS in light of significant changes in the Middle East for an engaged audience.

Among the guests were TAU pillars Jona and Doretta Goldrich and Max Webb with Dora Mandel. Representing the Southern California Alumni Leadership Committee were co-chairs Clark Hoover and Roy Balle, as well as TAU alums Dr. Zippi Bochner and husband Dan, Orna Yarzin, and Dana Schwarz. Longtime friends of TAU included Frederic Adler and Denise Klassy, Sheldon Ellis, Noralee Gold, Alan Schwartz, Michael Rich, Richard and May Ziman, Phyllis Ziman-Cutler, Harvey Grant, and Phyllis Abrams, along with new friends Armand Marciano and Tami Kautzman, Vicki and Ronald Simms, Tom and Judy Flesh, Adam and Gila Milstein, Fred and Judi Stein, Brian and Maxine Weinstock, and George Lachkar, brother of co-host Jeannine Sefton.
