Non-Verbal Communications for Networking and Negotiating
With Prof. Thalma Lobel

Best selling author and TAU Prof. Thalma Lobel, PhD, presented highlights from her latest book, Sensation: The New Science of Physical Intelligence (Simon & Schuster), to a rapt audience of 60 TAU friends, supporters, and alumni. The evening was graciously hosted by Diana and Dr. Gabriel Rubanenko, who treated their guests to a delicious dessert and wine reception. Rosalie Lurie, Senior Director of AFTAU's Western Region, thanked the hosts for their warm and generous hospitality, and Carmella Pardo, AFTAU supporter and community leader, described TAU's special achievements and 60th Anniversary celebrations.

The fascinating presentation about our complex sensory input via color, temperature, and textures, and how these physical experiences unconsciously affect our everyday decisions, was very illuminating. Prof. Lobel led a stimulating Q&A which had the audience participating and enjoying the new information which had just been presented. More mingling and conversations relating to the topic continued, and Prof. Lobel presented a signed copy of her book to the Rubanenkos as a mark of AFTAU's appreciation for opening their beautiful home for the event.
