With Prof. Meir Litvak and Prof. David Menashri

On Sunday, January 10, 2016, more than 100 TAU friends, alumni and AFTAU supporters gathered at the home of Dora and Neil Kadisha in Beverly Hills for an exclusive briefing by the esteemed guest speakers Prof. Meir Litvak, Director of the Alliance Center for Iranian Studies and Coordinator of the Parviz and Pouran Nazarian Chair for Modern Iranian Studies and the Habib Levi Iranian Jewish Program at Tel Aviv University, and Prof. David Menashri, Professor Emeritus and the Founding Director of the Alliance Center for Iranian Studies at Tel Aviv University.

The professors gave impressive presentations, illuminating the serious realities of sectarian violence within the context of significant ongoing changes in the Middle East. Following the eye-opening talks, there was an engaging Q & A. Dora closed the evening, thanking the guests for their participation and emphasizing the importance of Iranian studies at Tel Aviv University's Alliance Center for Iranian Studies, which is dedicated to the research and promotion of knowledge and understanding of Iran and Iranian culture.
