The Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies
Widely acknowledged as one of the top research institutes in the field, the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies is the first interdisciplinary research center of its kind in Israel.
Devoted to the study of the modern history and contemporary affairs of the Middle East and Africa, the Center is staffed by respected scholars who have been trained in the history, cultures, and languages of the region. Their command of two or more Middle Eastern languages, including Arabic, Turkish, Hebrew, Persian, and Kurdish, combined with their cultural and historical knowledge enables these researchers to provide thoughtful and insightful analysis on current events, grounded in historical understanding.
The influence of the Moshe Dayan Center's scholarship and analysis makes it an international authority on the volatile Middle East for academics, diplomats, statesmen and students around the globe.
Through its research, publications, conferences, documentary collections, and public service, the Moshe Dayan Center seeks to inform civil society and promote dialogue on the complexities of the ever-changing Middle East, both in Israel and abroad. In doing so, the Center hopes to advance peace through understanding.
I want to make a dedicated contribution to the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies.
