Join a journey which will break barriers by providing increased access
to top quality higher education for Israelis of Ethiopian descent
Israelis of Ethiopian descent are vastly underrepresented at Israel’s top-ranked Universities, a key obstacle to advancement and empowerment. We want to change the stats and empower the next generation.
Join The Morris and Rosalind Goodman Family Foundation in partnership with Tel Aviv University and Hebrew University as we empower the next generation by raising scholarship funds for students of Ethiopian descent. Together, we will ensure that all Israelis of Ethiopian origin with ambition and intellectual capacity have the financial resources needed to fulfill their academic dreams. Our aim is to fund full financial package including tuition, living expenses, and tutorial and coaching when needed as well as initiatives to support students at all levels.
You are invited to join a delegation that will travel from Israel and North America in February 2023 on a five-day journey to Ethiopia to fully understand the path of Israeli Ethiopians.
Travelling alongside Ethiopian Jewish educators, you will reconnect with the rich history of the community and connect to the historic walk and struggles of the 1980s and 1990s. In Ethiopia, you will learn about those who still awaiting the opportunity to reunite with family in Israel and fulfill their dream of a return to Jerusalem.
With this special project, The Morris and Rosalind Goodman Family Foundation is convening a coalition of peers to support Israelis of Ethiopian origin in fulfilling their potential.
